During this moment in the life of our church as we face the COVID-19 pandemic, we are striving to stay connected to the larger mission of God in our community. Below is a list of ways that our church members are seeking to be a blessing to our city:
- The Dorcas Brigade
The Dorcas Brigade was formed to enlist members of our church to help sew cloth masks in response to the CDC recommendation to wear cloth masks when in public. This ministry intends to first supply these masks to those in our own church and then to the surrounding community around us. Those interested in volunteering to sew masks can fill out this form.

- Shopping Angels
The Shopping Angels project was launched to match volunteers to people who are at higher risk for severe illness in our community, helping them carry out grocery shopping/delivery needs. Those interested in volunteering or receiving this service can fill out this form.

- Masks for HCC and Our Communities
This project gives HCC members an opportunity to purchase surgical-quality masks for themselves and their families, as well as local community members (e.g., neighbors, grocery clerks, delivery drivers, restaurant staff, postal workers, etc.). Those interested in purchasing these masks can fill out this form (English congregation) or this form (Mandarin and Cantonese congregations).Contact (English Congregation): Jordan Kho

- 1-mask-at-a-time for Houston Healthcare Workers
This GoFundMe campaign was started by several members of our church as a grassroots effort to raise funds to supply masks to healthcare workers in our city. If you are interested in helping support those on the frontline of the fight against COVID-19, we welcome you to visit this site.
