Who Are We?
Houston Chinese Church exists to make God-loving and compassionate disciples of Jesus Christ among all nations.
We are a multi-cultural, multi-lingual, non-denominational evangelical church that has been ministering the gospel of Jesus in Houston, TX since 1975.
When and Where do you meet?
During the COVID-19 pandemic, we have temporarily suspended our Sunday worship services until further notice (see our De-Escalation Plan).
In the meantime, we have been providing weekly guides that help families, couples, and singles to conduct home worship on Sundays. Home worship cannot replace the God-ordained purpose and power of corporate worship as the church, but during this time of crisis, we hope it will be greatly used by God to help us worship and stay connected.
Since last November, we began English outdoor services in the HCC parking lot at 9:15am. To attend the outdoor service, please register here. You will be contacted with instructions as conditions and updates continue during the Covid-19 pandemic.
Are you new or visiting? We are so glad you found us! Fill out this visitor form and we will connect you with ways of getting involved with our community.

What can I expect at your Sunday Worship Service?
On an average Sunday morning, you will join others to worship Jesus through song, prayer, and preaching. Our dress tends towards casual but that never discourages the occasional suit and tie. When you arrive, please register at the welcome booth by the front door.
In our English worship service, the music is marked by a blend of contemporary songs and classic hymns. The sermons are expository meaning the main point of the message is simply the main point of the passage we are studying. They typically last between 35-40 minutes and are recorded weekly. On the first Sunday of each month, we share in communion together. Occasionally, we celebrate baptisms, welcome new members, and share testimonies of God’s grace in our lives.
After English service, everyone is invited to the Fellowship Hall for coffee and snacks before English Adult Sunday School begins at 11:00am. Lunch is served in the Fellowship Hall at 12:15pm. For first-time guests lunch is on us!
What about my kids?
Children of all ages are welcomed to join their parents in the English service. All junior and senior high students are directed to the service, but there are alternatives for nursery and elementary-aged children. Inquire for more details and class locations at the welcome booth.
How can I get involved at HCC?
You can get involved in a number of ways. If you want to learn more about the Bible or about Jesus himself and what it means to follow him in all aspects of life, then join a Sunday School class after the worship service.
