Do Not Disbelieve But Believe

Bible VersesJohn 20:19-31

Preacher

Preached on

April 16, 2017

Sermon Description

How can I believe in the Resurrection without evidence to back it up? If I can’t see Jesus with my own eyes and touch him with my own hands, how can I believe a dead man came back to life? That was not just an ancient dilemma for the apostle Thomas but a modern question asked by doubters and skeptics today. Fortunately, John says he wrote his gospel to give all of us good reasons to believe.

Bible VersesMatthew 4:23-5:12

Preacher

Preached on

March 5, 2017

Sermon Description

The Sermon on the Mount is a widely loved passage but widely misunderstood. Some see it as a description of how to enter the kingdom of heaven or establish it on earth. But it’s actually a description of how Christians should live once we've been brought into the kingdom, by grace, through repentance and faith.

Preacher

Preached on

November 13, 2016

Sermon Description

When men replace God with idols, moral decay will naturally occur. They worship God on their own terms instead of God’s terms.  Their corrupted religious beliefs affect their family, their ministry, and their society.  They do what appears to be right in their own eyes.

May 29, 2016

Sermon Description

In the last half of Ephesians, Paul has been describing what it looks like to walk as one saved by the gospel. Now as he concludes, he leaves us with a stark reminder that we're walking into a fight. There are spiritual forces in the world committed to knocking you off your feet. But there is also a mighty God in whom you can stand firm and endure.

Preacher

Preached on

April 10, 2016

The good news of Christianity is that you don't have to change your behavior before you can be saved. But once you do come to Jesus and receive his salvation, change is inevitable. There is no excuse for behaving the same because you're no longer the same.

Made Alive Together With Christ

Bible VersesEphesians 2:1-10

Preacher

Preached on

February 7, 2016

Sermon Description

Remember who you are and where you came from. That's not just pop psychology. It's what the Apostle is challenging his readers to do. But instead of having us gaze at our navels and complain about our parents, Paul confronts us with the grimness of our former life without Christ (where we're from) but balanced with the glory of the new life we now share with Him (who we are).
